Now I've upset my Muslim friends. But a fair reading of his "revelations from Allah" & of their contexts do indicate to many non-Muslims that he received several significant revelations that conveniently dovetailed with these often quite carnal desires. Even his young wife Aisha (the one he married when she was just 6 years old*) pointedly commented on this.
If she challenged him on this then isn't it fair for us to challenge him as well?
