Nineteen kgs the guy lost in 2 months. Listening to him speak he is obviously physically weakened and, to me at least, he seems to be carrying some other damage from his time inside. This video is of him being reunited with his family when he got home. It's heart warming. The bloke still has such spirit and he didn't deserve the treatment he got.
Choosing not to eat food cooked by Muslim prisoners and not being permitted anything else he lived on 5 tins of tuna and some fruit each week. The days were oppressively hot but he couldn't open his cell windows as excrement would be thrown in. Three times his cell door was left "accidentally" unlocked and at all other times prisoners had access to his door where they shouted abuse during the day.
