USA: Threat from Cross-Border Terrorists a Ticking Time Bomb
That is people known to have jihadi ties and that information is now six years old. What about those who the authorities do not know have ties to terror movements - such as Tashfeen Malik, the female IS murderer who passed the security checks of FIVE US government agencies before coming to America and murdering 14 people in San Bernardino. Border security has been steadily eroded during the last six years and the emergence of the Islamic State would mean that the likelihood of jihadis wanting to get into America would have increased, not decreased. Even back in 2010 I was reading about portable mosques on the Mexican side of the border and that drug lords had started beheading and stoning to death their enemies. Where did they learn those tricks? From their nice new jihadi friends of course.
Perhaps this gives some fresh insight into the apparent selfishness of many Americans in not wanting their southern border to be porous. Perhaps this is another reason why Donald Trump is so popular.
