its boredom levels are approaching those of europe
"Tatjana Festerling is a former leader of PEGIDA Dresden and one of the founding leaders of the new organization Fortress Europe (Festung Europa).
The clip below shows an interview given yesterday via skype. In it Ms. Festerling discusses her recent trip to Bulgaria to accompany civilian volunteers on their border patrols to look for illegally entering “refugees”. She also talks about the “pitchfork affair” (which did not result in legal action against her) and other instances of repression against dissidents in Europe, especially Germany."
I found it absolutely engrossing. Growing Fascism & violence, criminal migrants, the Islamic State, government oppression, double standards and drugs. Sounds like a novel but this is real life (FYI, she mentions ANTIFA, which is a Left wing self-described anti-fascist group that is in fact the most visibly violent & fascist group in Europe - and often protected by authorities).
It must get very frustrating after a while.
And what about those worrying studies and surveys? I've posted a couple here and here. There are also observations by some very informed sources linking rising Muslim numbers to rising intolerance and the growing imposition of Sharia.
Shouldn't we then talk about the issues honestly? Isn't that better than just letting the whole place balkanise and attacking each other? If we don't stop "protecting" our increasingly mythical ideological high ground and start dialogue is there any real alternative to increasing division and violence in the long term?
Surely, Canada, good old solid, placid (even boring like NZ) Canada isn't going the same way as Europe though. Is it? Umm...
Jihad Watch reports that six Canadian cities just signed a charter against "Islamophobia". This is misguided and harmful. Robert Spencer notes:~
"As a Maclean’s article indicates, Muslims across Canada “have reason to feel concerned about how they are perceived when other Canadians identify them by their religion.” Yet it is worth contemplating a comparison: such attitudes are not the case with regard to other religions in which high numbers of “visible minority” adherents are to be found, such as Sikhism and Hinduism.
Hate crime statistics against Muslims compiled by the FBI for 2013 [in the US] show that anti-Islamic hate crimes accounted for a meager 13.7 percent of such crimes, compared with such incidents against other groups deemed to be targeted, despite the long time exaggeration about “Islamophobia”; for example, the FBI identified that of religious bias hate crimes, 60.3 percent were committed against Jews, and of racial bias hate crimes, 66.5 percent were against blacks or African Americans.
There is a likely reason for this current-day lack of trust against Muslims, which Maclean’s pinpoints but suggests no possible motive for. These bad attitudes and attacks against Muslims correlate with the attacks by Islamic jihadists against the West. Each time a jihadist launches an attack in Europe, Britain or on North American soil, random attacks against Muslims increase, which, as often noted here, are never justified.
As the historian, journalist and President of the Free Press Society, Lars Hedegaard, put it in a Gatestone Institute article:
“Right now there is an ever-widening gap between the people and their rulers……As long as we in the West are not prepared to take Muslims at their word when they claim to be waging bloody jihad because it is their religious obligation, we have no chance of repelling the current onslaught on the West.”
Hedegaard continues with a dire warning:
“Western societies are based on an implied contract between the sovereign and the people: The sovereign — the king, the president, the government — promises to uphold law and order, protect his people from violence and foreign encroachment and apprehend and punish criminals. In exchange, the citizens promise not to take the law into their own hands. It follows that if the state fails to uphold its part of this social bargain, then the right — indeed the obligation — to protect oneself, one’s family, neighbors and the community, returns to the citizens.”
It is an injustice and against human rights to attack innocent Muslims, but Western so-called sovereigns are partially to blame for this injustice, as these “sovereigns” and their cowardly water carriers continue to fail the people."
Meanwhile it seems that ordinary Canadians are increasingly unhappy about the Muslim migrant situation.
Christine Williams writes:~
"According to a new government survey to be released this week, the majority of those surveyed indicated their belief that Muslim immigrants hold “fundamentally different values” (including on the issue of women’s rights) and that “mainstream Islam promotes violence”. Attitudes of participants are already being dismissed as “Islamophobic”.
The Toronto Star titled their account of the story: “Ontario facing ‘epidemic of Islamophobia’ survey finds”. The article did not discuss possible reasons for the attitude of Ontarians, which just may be based on real occurrences with real victims. Some examples: i) Sweden has now become the rape capital of the world; ii) a thousand women were sexually assaulted in Germany as the migrant rape crisis worsens; iii) the 70,000 crimes committed or attempted by migrants in Germany, iv) the declaration by the Islamic State that they have infiltrated the refugees and will continue to do so.
There were also the stories the media covered up, about Muslim “refugees” threatening a Minnesota community with rape, and the incident involving the sexual harassment of teen girls by refugee men at a high school in New Brunswick.
Not all Muslim migrants are criminals. Among them are decent human beings who have gone through hellish experiences, and they need help. But Western media and authorities are also providing cover for jihadists and Muslim migrant criminals, at the expense of innocents who elected them in trust."
You see? All this stuff is going on and if we notice we then become the problem. Any concern ordinary people express about importing people who not only do not want to assimilate but who want to take over is simple ignorant bigotry. Got that? Nothing to see here, move along please.
There has got to be a better way. We need to talk.
