Here is an interesting 12 minute video from a far-left source on how correct it turns out he really was. Alright, I made the bit about "far left" up - but if I could find such a source that actually covered the facts I would leap to use it. Instead I get this from a, sigh, alt-right source. See how that worked? Instantly what would have been taken as unimpeachably veracious has been changed to become unquestionably a distorted falsehood. It's a neat trick and we see it a lot. Propagandised again - depending on which side of the aisle you are.
But really, truth is truth isn't it? There is no right wing truth or left wing truth, it either happened or it didn't. If a "left wing" source says 2+2=4 does that make it wrong? How do we know? Because we verify from a variety of sources and don't just swallow what we're fed from one source like we're a bunch of Gannet chicks.
There is some use of the "S" word in this clip but I hope you watch it as it covers a large amount of news from verifiable sources. Do stop the video to read some of the partial articles cited. It must have taken a long time to produce - there's a lot in there. Much of it I know absolutely you will not see anywhere else, so I highly recommend it.
You will hear of Somali refugees who want to go back to Somalia as it is less dangerous. You will watch a Muslim migrant living in Sweden defend Trump's statements and rail against stupid politicians that refuse to deal with the reality Trump describes. You will watch a woman who was involved with reporting sexual assault cases by migrants on Swedish women at an anti-racism festival describe how the Police "put a lid" on publicising it. Yet when I googled news items on Trump's statements the first page was full of large international news outlets stating Sweden has no idea what that bozo is talking about. This is extremely troubling.
Go ahead and watch this. Although I try to shy away from emotive stuff, you need to know all this.
